Commercial insurance broker Konsileo has secured £5 million in equity investment from Committed Capital and ACF Investors. The UK company plans to use the backing to support growth and further develop the technology used by its brokers.
Konsileo combines a brokerage business with proprietary software designed to reduce administrative work and support compliance. Its expansion plans include greater use of artificial intelligence, placing technology within a service model where human advisers remain central to customer relationships.
That model is commercially different from selling software alone. The value of the technology is reflected in how effectively brokers can understand clients, place appropriate cover and manage ongoing work. Reducing repetitive administration could give employees more time for those activities, but the practical benefit depends on how well the tools fit daily operations.
The new funding gives Konsileo resources to strengthen both its team and platform. Its growth will need to preserve service quality as the organisation expands. For the broader insurance technology market, the transaction shows continued investor interest in businesses that use software to improve established professional services rather than relying entirely on self-service distribution.
