Terms of service
1. The services
Pexonix provides: a public media platform (funding feed, map, Top 50 lists, events, news, calculators); Startup Force (public startup profiles, team directory, digital IDs, jobs, verified badge); Fund Force (a private AI funding dashboard); and accounts for investors, agents and media creators. Features may change, and some may be switched off or offered only in certain countries.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and give accurate information. Keep your login secure; you are responsible for activity on your account and any sub-accounts (HR, Sales) you create.
- Investor, agent and media accounts are subject to admin approval. We may refuse or revoke approval where verification fails.
- We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, create risk for others, or are required to be closed by law.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of content you submit (profiles, logos, descriptions, job posts, articles, messages). You grant Pexonix a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and distribute public content on Pexonix and in search engines, share images and promotional material about Pexonix, for as long as it is on the platform. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, including consent from any employee whose name or photo you publish.
4. Funding data and confidentiality
Fund Force information (revenue, raise plans, addresses and similar) is private. It is never public, never indexed and is shared only with a party you choose, after you accept a request (and, where enabled, after an NDA is signed). You can revoke access at any time. Recipients must use shared information only to evaluate a business relationship with you.
5. Marketplace neutrality
- Pexonix is a neutral marketplace and information service. Pexonix does not employ agents, is not a broker, investment adviser or placement agent, and takes no success fee or commission on any funding raised.
- Fees between a startup and an agent or media creator are agreed privately between them. Pexonix is not a party to those agreements.
- Pexonix guarantees nothing about funding, introductions, hiring, coverage, search rankings or inclusion in Google News, Google Jobs or other third-party services.
6. AI-generated information
Market sizes, competitor lists, funding-route suggestions, funder matches, readiness scores, the funding feed and Top 50 lists are generated with AI from public sources. They are estimates, may be incomplete or wrong, and are not investment, legal, tax or financial advice. Verify before relying on them.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-download data from Pexonix (including startup profiles, team members, jobs, investor directory entries or contact details) by automated means, or build a competing database from it — except search-engine indexing permitted by our robots.txt;
- circumvent rate limits, access controls, paywalls or the request/NDA process, or access another user's data;
- send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or use contact details obtained on Pexonix for marketing without consent;
- post false, misleading, infringing, defamatory, discriminatory or unlawful content, or fake jobs or events;
- upload malware, probe or attack our systems (see our security policy for good-faith research), or impersonate anyone.
8. Payments, renewals and refunds
Paid plans are annual and billed in advance through Razorpay (India) or PayPal (other countries). Prices are based on the company's registration country. Plans renew automatically unless cancelled; we send reminders 30, 7 and 1 day before renewal, and you can cancel in one click. Refunds are governed by our refund policy. Taxes such as GST apply where required.
9. Jobs and applications
Employers are responsible for their job posts and hiring decisions and must comply with employment and anti-discrimination law. Applications are passed only to the employer. Pexonix never charges candidates.
10. Intellectual property
The Pexonix name, Startup Force, Fund Force, the site design, software and compiled databases belong to Pexonix. Verified badges may be displayed only while your verification is active.
11. Disclaimers and liability
The services are provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Pexonix is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost funding opportunities, or for the conduct of other users. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Indemnity
You will indemnify Pexonix against claims arising from your content, your breach of these terms, or your dealings with other users.
13. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email or on the site at least 15 days before they take effect. You may close your account at any time.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [city to be confirmed] have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country. Complaints can first be raised with our Grievance Officer.
