Corrections policy
Last updated: 22 September 2026
We aim to be accurate. When we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and say so.
How to report an error
Email [email protected] with the page link, what is wrong, and — if you can — a source showing the correct information. Company representatives should write from an address on the company's domain.
What happens next
- We acknowledge your report within 2 business days.
- An editor checks the claim against the original source and, where needed, a primary source.
- If we made an error, we correct it — usually within 2 business days of confirming it.
How corrections are shown
- News articles: significant factual errors are corrected in the text and a dated correction note is added at the end of the article describing what changed. Typos and minor style fixes are corrected without a note.
- Funding feed and Top 50 lists: these are AI-compiled from public sources. Wrong entries are edited, re-sourced or removed; the list shows its last-updated date.
- Startup profiles: profile content is supplied by the startup. Owners can edit their own profile at any time; we act on reports of false or misleading profiles under our terms.
Removal requests
We do not remove accurate reporting because it is unwelcome. We will consider removal or anonymisation where there is a legal requirement, a genuine safety risk, or personal data that is no longer relevant. Personal-data requests can also be made through the Grievance page.
