Editorial policy

Last updated: 22 September 2026
Pexonix News covers startups, funding, founders, investors and startup ecosystems. This policy explains how we work and what readers can expect from us.

1. Independence

Editorial decisions are made by our editors alone. Advertisers, sponsors, Startup Force customers, Fund Force customers and investors on the platform cannot approve, edit or veto independent coverage. Being a paying customer does not earn favourable coverage, and not being one does not count against a company.

2. Named, accountable authors

Every article carries the name of a real author with a public author page and bio. A named human editor approves every article before it is published.

3. Sourcing and accuracy

  • We prefer primary sources: company announcements, regulatory filings (for example SEC Form D, MCA filings), court records and on-the-record interviews.
  • Funding amounts, valuations and investor names are attributed to their source. Where figures are unconfirmed we say so.
  • We do not copy other publications' text. When we build on another outlet's reporting, we credit and link to it.
  • Anonymous sources are used only when the information is important, cannot be obtained on the record, and the editor knows the source's identity.

4. Use of AI

Our daily funding feed and Top 50 lists are compiled with the help of AI from public sources. They are presented as data cards, labelled as AI-compiled, linked to their sources, and are never published as news articles. AI may help a writer research or draft; a named person checks the facts and is responsible for every published article.

5. Sponsored content

Paid articles are marked with a visible “Sponsored” label at the top of the page and in listings. Sponsored articles follow the same accuracy standards, and the sponsor is identified. Paid placements on the site are always labelled “Sponsored” or “Promoted”.

6. Conflicts of interest

Writers disclose any financial interest in, or close relationship with, a company they cover. Where a conflict exists, another writer is assigned or the conflict is disclosed in the article.

7. Corrections

We correct errors promptly and transparently. See our corrections policy.

8. Contact the newsroom
