Accenture acquires London customer intelligence firm Sagacity
Accenture has acquired London-based customer intelligence business Sagacity Solutions to expand its Accenture Song unit in the UK and Ireland. Deal terms were not disclosed.

Accenture has acquired London-headquartered customer intelligence firm Sagacity Solutions to expand the capabilities of its Accenture Song unit across the UK and Ireland, the New York Stock Exchange-listed consulting firm announced on October 13, 2026.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The deal brings more than 140 data and intelligence specialists to Accenture Song, adding capacity across strategy, service design, technical implementation, and customer operations. Sagacity was founded in 2005 by Anita Dougall, Malka Townshend, and Harry Dougall. The London business provides proprietary data assets and tools designed to help enterprises integrate disconnected customer data into their operational infrastructure.
Accenture said the acquisition responds to growing corporate demand for unified, outcome-focused programs that link data infrastructure directly to measurable business performance. The expanded services target companies that manage complex customer journeys and large subscriber bases, including businesses operating in the banking, retail, telecommunications, and utilities sectors.
According to the announcement, combining Sagacity's technology with Accenture's consulting and operations infrastructure will help clients convert customer insight into proactive, personalized experiences. The integrated services will allow client organizations to move from data collection to operational action faster and at a larger scale than either firm could manage independently.
Sohel Aziz, senior managing director at Accenture Song in the UK and Ireland, said clients want to connect customer data with operations to spur revenue growth. He noted that Sagacity's outcome-focused capabilities will help organizations make smarter decisions and create sustainable value through intelligent operations.
Anita Dougall, chief executive officer and co-founder of Sagacity, said the deal would allow her team to scale its capabilities across a broader client base.
"Joining Accenture represents an exciting opportunity to accelerate the impact of our people, data and technology," Dougall said in a statement. "By combining our expertise, data and know-how with Accenture's scale and innovation capabilities, we can help more organizations deliver meaningful business results."
The transaction forms part of Accenture's broader corporate strategy to use targeted acquisitions to expand scale in high-growth services and deepen industry-specific operational capabilities.
