Scimplify raises $25 million Series C funding led by Hitachi Ventures
Chemical sourcing platform Scimplify raised $25 million in a Series C round led by Hitachi Ventures, boosting its valuation to $250 million as it plans a U.S. expansion.

Chemical sourcing startup Scimplify, officially registered as Cocreate Global Technologies Pvt. Ltd., has raised $25 million in a Series C funding round led by venture firm Hitachi Ventures, raising the company's valuation to $250 million.
The funding round, announced on October 14, 2026, featured participation from customer corporate partners including consumer goods manufacturer Henkel AG and server cable material producer Teknor Apex Inc., alongside returning investors. The new round raised Scimplify's valuation by $100 million from the prior year, according to TechCrunch.
Scimplify expects to reach profitability in November 2026. The Bengaluru-based company reported that its annualized run rate tripled over the past year to exceed $200 million. It targets an annualized revenue figure of $400 million next year.
Approximately 30% of Scimplify's revenue originates in the United States. The software business plans to deploy $7.5 million from the new round to expand its U.S. footprint and allocate $2 million toward refining its internal software platform, called Scinode.
Marketplace and Workflow Development
Chemical sourcing often requires companies to create production workflows from scratch, guide manufacturers through implementation, and oversee facility equipment upgrades. Scimplify operates an online marketplace that connects client companies with scientists to build these customized material production processes.
The marketplace links client companies to academic institutions, commercial laboratories, and Scimplify's own 50-person research team. The platform automatically sends project details to qualified research providers, who then submit competitive bids for contracts.
Existing industry methods for manufacturing materials do not always match client requirements. For example, a microchip manufacturer may aim to source a specific processor ingredient at a 10% lower cost than the prevailing market average. In response, scientists use the platform to modify workflows by adding materials, cutting material usage, or altering underlying chemical reactions.
Factory Matching and Monitoring
After researchers finalize a manufacturing process, Scimplify uses its Scinode software to identify a production facility capable of executing the workflow. The software evaluates factory equipment, overall production capacity, and existing regulatory certifications before selecting a facility.
Scimplify dispatches field engineers to selected manufacturing plants to accelerate the initial setup. Once operational, the Scinode platform continually collects data regarding material production quality and regulatory compliance from the plant floor.
