Reach Security raises over $50 million in Series B round

Reach Security raised over $50 million in a Series B funding round on Oct. 15, 2026, to expand its automated cyber defense platform across enterprise and government markets. Top Tier Capital Partners led the financing round, according to FinTech Global.

Ballistic Ventures, In-Q-Tel, M12—Microsoft's venture fund—and existing investors also participated in the funding round. Reach Security plans to direct the capital toward product development, technology integrations, overseas growth, and expansion in U.S. federal and enterprise sectors.

Alongside the capital raise, the company launched Reach Everywhere, a platform update designed to extend security control intelligence across all defensive environments. The system uses an API, an MCP server, and partner integrations to connect with exposure management programs, security operations centers, incident response systems, compliance tools, and frontier security environments.

Reach Security's software uses artificial intelligence to analyze exposures and automatically reconfigure an organization's existing security tools. The platform helps operations teams focus only on misconfigurations and vulnerabilities that attackers can genuinely reach, ignoring risks already mitigated by active security tools. When an attacker or internal automated test finds an entry path, Reach Security reconfigures existing security products to close it.

A primary use case for Reach Everywhere addresses exposure management teams dealing with vulnerabilities that cannot be patched quickly. The software locates, verifies, and continuously tracks compensating controls to confirm they remain active.

Reach Security doubled its customer base over the past year. Its client list includes Autodesk, Insurity, MPS, and Ensemble Health Partners.

The investment arrives alongside shifting threat conditions detailed in recent industry research. VulnCheck's State of Exploitation 1H-2026 report found that less than 1.3 percent of software vulnerabilities are actively exploited in the wild, indicating that reaction time is critical. Additionally, CrowdStrike's 2026 Global Threat Report documented an 89 percent increase in AI-enabled adversary activity, with breakout times dropping to 27 seconds as automated systems combine exploits into new attack paths.
